Understanding a LINQSQL Class
In Example 7-2, I am creating a stored procedure in the Tutorials database called SaveUser that takes in the list of required parameters, inserts the record into our users table, and then returns back the identity value of the newly inserted record.
The caller can use the newly created GUID to reference the newly inserted record.
