stage of a project. Project managers review and update the

levels of engagement of key stakeholders as projects progress.

In creating a stakeholder management plan, the project

manager uses the judgment and expertise of groups and

individuals with specialized training, subject matter expertise,

or insights into relationships within the organization and with

external stakeholders. Project managers use one-on-one meet-

ings, interviews, focus groups, surveys, and other techniques

to obtain expert advice.
