I use a couple of learning platforms, but I'm on O'Reilly more than anybody else. When you're there, you start learning. I'm never disappointed.I'm always learning. So when I got on to O'Reilly, I was like a kid in a candy store. There are playlists. There are answers. There's on-demand training. It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.

Do you remember that weird workplace television show with Calista Flockhart, Ally McBeal? Two details stick in my mind about that show: the unisex office bathroom (thank heavens that was a trend that never caught on), and some advice the main character received as a method to bolster her confidence and motivation. “Give yourself a soundtrack.” You might have scoffed at that idea when you saw the show. But now that you’re walking down the hall to what might be the last meeting of your tenure at your company, a soundtrack is beginning to sound like a good idea. What will it be?
