Charles was known as the “Father of Manufacturing Reliability” for his pioneering efforts to break the paradigms of reaction and foster a culture of proaction. Charles’ efforts in the 1960s paved the way for his enduring Reliability principles to be applied to any industry today. While he was known as the “Father of Manufacturing Reliability” to most, more importantly, he was our loving father as well and we miss him dearly.
