So when I got on to O'Reilly, I was like a kid in a candy store. There are playlists. There are answers. There's on-demand training. It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.
Get the storage usage details
Your records or attachments count against some storage usage. Salesforce provides a set of storage to the user in an organization, which is used to store the organization data. Salesforce provides mainly two types of storage:
- Data storage
- File storage
Data storage
Data storage includes accounts, article types, article type translations, campaigns, campaign members, cases, case teams, contacts, contracts, custom objects, e-mail messages, events, forecast items, Google Docs, ideas, leads, notes, opportunities, opportunity splits, quotes, quote template rich text data, solutions, tag applications, unique tags, and tasks.
