I use a couple of learning platforms, but I'm on O'Reilly more than anybody else. When you're there, you start learning. I'm never disappointed.I'm always learning. So when I got on to O'Reilly, I was like a kid in a candy store. There are playlists. There are answers. There's on-demand training. It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.
Wrapping Up Android
We’ve done some fairly advanced Android development with this app. Of course, we’ve used only a few of the many APIs in the platform, but you should have a firm foundation for forging on with your Android development.
Strengths
As with iOS, probably the greatest strength of the Android platform is its popularity and the number of users you can reach with your apps. When you’re considering building any mobile application, Android has to be a part of the strategy.
Google also makes it really easy to get your apps to your users. When you compare beta testing, putting your app in the Play Store, and shipping bug fixes and revisions to the same processes for iOS, it’s almost laughable how much less friction there is with Google’s ...
