Physical and Cognitive Strengths

If you and all of your friends and family had been alive 40,000 years ago, your lives and responsibilities would have been very different. The things that we class as important today; our boss’ mood, whether the wrong kind of leaves will delay our trains, if we’ll make it back from the shops in time for tae bo classes, how well we have separated our rubbish for the recyclers, or if the muesli we ordered as part of our online shop is family sized or bite sized were irrelevant and pointless back in the times of hunting and scavenging for food in tribes. Our forefather’s and foremother’s needs were simpler (Harari 2014):

Find or catch enough food to survive.
