When I went on the O’Reilly platform, I was astonished to find all the books there, plus live events and sandboxes so you could play around with the technology.I’ve been on the O’Reilly platform for more than eight years. I use a couple of learning platforms, but I'm on O'Reilly more than anybody else. When you're there, you start learning. I'm never disappointed.I'm always learning. So when I got on to O'Reilly, I was like a kid in a candy store. There are playlists. There are answers. There's on-demand training. It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.
I wish to thank all the participants of my recruitment master classes over the last 3 years who convinced me that this book was needed. Also, the 2015 survey of over 1100 managers who provided details of hours worked in the three critical bands and the fact that poor performers were recruited by someone and as a consequence have cost their organizations massive sums in lost productivity.
Rather than use old research to establish certain recruitment factors, this books incorporates the work of two dedicated research professionals
Luke Treglown, Sr. Research Assistant, and Kelly Petropoulou, University College London whose brief was to research only the latest proven work relating to the nine stages of successful recruitment.
