When I went on the O’Reilly platform, I was astonished to find all the books there, plus live events and sandboxes so you could play around with the technology.I’ve been on the O’Reilly platform for more than eight years. I use a couple of learning platforms, but I'm on O'Reilly more than anybody else. When you're there, you start learning. I'm never disappointed.I'm always learning. So when I got on to O'Reilly, I was like a kid in a candy store. There are playlists. There are answers. There's on-demand training. It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.

A perspective on marketing
We thought long and hard about this chapter. We are both passionate about marketing. We have spent our lives in it and some of our closest and dearest friends work in it. We are also very aware just how hard it can be for a marketer to have the light bulb go on around sustainability and the damage marketing is doing. Our initial reaction was to leave the industry and we know individuals who have done just that, in one case directly after one of our presentations. Equally there are a lot of people doing some truly transformational work carving a new path for marketing that is as exciting as it is rewarding.
