Gardening involves planting and caring for flowers, trees and shrubs, cutting and tending lawns, removing weeds, clearing debris and preparing ground for planting.

As a gardener, you might be self-employed – tending the gardens of private individuals – or you could be employed in the private or public sector – caring for the grounds of hotels, parks, hospitals, schools, residential complexes, private businesses or stately homes and heritage gardens.
