I use a couple of learning platforms, but I'm on O'Reilly more than anybody else. When you're there, you start learning. I'm never disappointed.I'm always learning. So when I got on to O'Reilly, I was like a kid in a candy store. There are playlists. There are answers. There's on-demand training. It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.

ON SEPTEMBER 16, 2016, a 34-year-old editorial production manager named Laura Levis suffered a severe asthma attack that stopped her breathing. Although paramedics managed to restart her heart, she never regained consciousness and died days later. In the wake of her death, her husband, Peter, posted an open letter of gratitude on Facebook, addressing it to the staff members in the intensive care unit who took care of his wife. The letter was so poignant that it caught the eye of the New York Times, which republished it.1
