Characters

Oparee Elderly Southern woman—but not a “belle.” She is a woman who has worked hard all of her life and is somewhat beaten down. Still, she has a wonderfully sharp tongue and wit, and relentlessly plods on doing what she feels is right.
Estelle Another elderly Southern woman—more of a “belle” than Oparee, but she has had to work in life also. She is more vivacious than Oparee, and takes the castigations of her friend with the proverbial grain of salt—most of the time.

Setting
