Other people’s perceptions of you can considerably affect your level of success. They can impact the level of respect you receive, if you’re given a voice at the table (or invited back to the table), your pay, and whether or not you get promoted. Creating an accurate impression of yourself is based on two things:
1. Knowing how you want to be perceived and leveraging your strengths
2. Understanding which of your habits may be undermining you—and being more aware of how those tendencies impact other people’s perceptions of you
