It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.

This section contains two cases: (1) “Innovative Distribution Company: A Total Cost Approach to Understanding Supply Chain Risk” and (2) “Humanitarian Logistics: Getting Donated Foods from Switzerland to Zambia.” Although the focus of the two cases is best described as addressing risk and uncertainty, each case examines a particular aspect of risk and uncertainty, which particularly challenges managers.
