YOU CAN SHOOT LOW-LIGHT images and get great results with just about any camera on the market today. When it comes to low-light photography, there are a few things that I look for in a camera. Each of these is covered in detail in this chapter, but in terms of a quick overview, you will need a camera that has a Bulb shutter speed mode, an acceptable (to you) level of noise at higher ISOs, and the ability to use a remote trigger or cable release. Some cameras have extra features that can be really fun to use, like in-camera time-lapse and double exposures, but these features are not critical.
