So when I got on to O'Reilly, I was like a kid in a candy store. There are playlists. There are answers. There's on-demand training. It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.
Using the Camera Raw Filter
A wonderful Creative Cloud–only feature introduces the ability to apply Camera Raw settings on a layer-by-layer basis. This means you can use Camera Raw to edit anything that is on a layer!
In this document, I combined two JPG files, with each on its own layer (Figure 6.1, Figure 6.2). After I finished creating a mask for the top layer, I realized that I wanted to apply some Camera Raw adjustments to the layer. Before this feature was introduced, I would have had to start over, open the JPG in Camera Raw, and then redo the sizing and the layer mask.
