I use a couple of learning platforms, but I'm on O'Reilly more than anybody else. When you're there, you start learning. I'm never disappointed.I'm always learning. So when I got on to O'Reilly, I was like a kid in a candy store. There are playlists. There are answers. There's on-demand training. It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.
Smart “Templates”
As you may know from working in other applications, a template is a predesigned starting place new documents. Templates make your work faster and more consistent. However, the word “template” never appears in Photoshop—unlike applications that offer a straightforward Save as Template command. In Photoshop, when you save a document containing Smart Objects as a PSD file, the document acts like a template. I use the term template to point out the possibilities of using Smart Objects in this way.
