I use a couple of learning platforms, but I'm on O'Reilly more than anybody else. When you're there, you start learning. I'm never disappointed.I'm always learning. So when I got on to O'Reilly, I was like a kid in a candy store. There are playlists. There are answers. There's on-demand training. It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.

SETTINGS ARE CHARACTERS IN your story. A location can evoke a particular emotion, frame a theme, and provide context for central characters. Just a few quick establishing shots in a location can make all the difference in defining the tone for a coming scene or interview. Sound also plays a crucial role in a story. I’ve shot in urban environments when the streetscape visual and audio play a critical role in establishing the characters on screen.
