SETTINGS ARE CHARACTERS IN your story. A location can evoke a particular emotion, frame a theme, and provide context for central characters. Just a few quick establishing shots in a location can make all the difference in defining the tone for a coming scene or interview. Sound also plays a crucial role in a story.
