Eddie Clark has been in technology for more than 20 years, with about half of that time in security. He started in structured cabling and networking, spending lots of time in Pacific Bell and AT&T phone offices in the 1990s. He can still stitch cable with the best of them—just need to find some nine cord and a sewing needle! He has worked in security for the local and federal government as well the private sector. Throughout his career, he has been a system admin, network admin, and security analyst, and he has participated and led cyber-incident response team (CIRT) engagements. He was fortunate enough to have the opportunity to build a security program from the ground up.

He has served on the Phoenix ISSA board for four years as well as run a local security meetup (EVSec) and run the local Spicecorps in Arizona for the past couple of years. Currently, he is a security solutions architect helping organizations in their efforts to become more secure. He spends a lot of his free time learning from others in the InfoSec community and spends some of it mixing cocktails on his small YouTube channel and hanging out with the family as much as possible.
