Quiessence is a cybersecurity professional with 12+ years of experience working within the financial industry and most recently in the public sector, where she joined the City of New York as the deputy CISO. At New York City Cyber Command, she leads the threat management function, which encompasses the City's Security Operations Center, Computer Emergency Response, Cyber Threat Intelligence, and Counter Threat Automation teams.

Quiessence has been recognized as “Best of New York” by City Tech Foundation, published in Women Know Cyber: 100 Fascinating Females Fighting Cybercrime, and awarded Security Team of the Year for the public sector by FireEye. Additionally, in an effort to assist women interested in forging their path in the industry, Quiessence created Securing Your Path.
