This appendix contains a background analysis of trust in the form of a summary of models of trust emerging from the social sciences, as well as cross-disciplinary backgrounds, together with consideration of models of trust specifically related to the e-commerce domain. A final section presents some reasons why companies might want to be associated with trust.
