Speculative Use of Trusted Platforms
In addition to the scenarios considered above, it is anticipated that a wide variety of potential new e-business applications exist, which are too commercially sensitive or dangerous to consider using without TPs. In this section, we speculate on the generic e-service and some very specific scenarios that may one day run on TPs. Some of these scenarios assume specialized implementations of TPMs–incorporated into display controllers, for example. Other scenarios based around extension of TCPA-technology—for example, to enhance service providers' role—are discussed further in Part 4.
