So when I got on to O'Reilly, I was like a kid in a candy store. There are playlists. There are answers. There's on-demand training. It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.
The header component
Our header component will have our application image with application name and navigation for our four news outlets. When the user navigates to our application, we will have NFL news as our default selection. As we saw in the last chapter, the Angular CLI provides us with the ng generate command which generates the component along with its template and style sheet. The Angular CLI also adds reference to the component in the app module. This time, we will not use the CLI but, rather, manually add these files and references just to show the steps executed by the CLI to generate a component for us:
