It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.
The polyfill bundle file
The purpose of the polyfill is to handle the quirks of different browsers when running our application. Angular uses polyfill to make sure that there is support in each browser for the actions we are performing.
Some browsers may not have a specific functionality implemented and, to be able to handle the behavior consistently, the polyfill code helps.
