So when I got on to O'Reilly, I was like a kid in a candy store. There are playlists. There are answers. There's on-demand training. It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.

In SaaS, the cloud provider provides an on-demand software which is accessed through a web application such as the Azure portal. This software provides users with functionalities that help them manage and deploy their applications.
The main characteristics of SaaS is to provide a common platform for application support through customization and configuration. Using SaaS allows users to focus on the application and not on the infrastructure. Users use SaaS but are not concerned about the physical aspects of the application maintenance, such as how the application is deployed and managed.
