Implementing the test cases

Our HomeComponent has the following functionalities:

  • ngOnInit to fetch all the boards available and bind them to our local board array object
  • Add new board functionality, where we create a new board with zero tasks and the board title as New Board

So, we will write three test cases to cover basic scenarios for these two functionalities. Our test cases will cover the following things:

  • Check if the component is created successfully
  • Add two boards and check if those boards have been added in the component and displayed on the template
  • Create a new board and check if the board is displayed on the UI
