Configuring Graphic Displays
Like a physical machine, a virtual machine supports a graphical display or monitor. In practice, much like a mouse, a keyboard, or other human interface devices (HIDs), each virtual machine does not have its own dedicated monitor. Instead, the user connects to the virtual machine with a common set of basic peripherals for the duration of a session. Even though this is the norm, many applications and situations now require a wider set of more specialized configurations.
