When I went on the O’Reilly platform, I was astonished to find all the books there, plus live events and sandboxes so you could play around with the technology.I’ve been on the O’Reilly platform for more than eight years. I use a couple of learning platforms, but I'm on O'Reilly more than anybody else. When you're there, you start learning. I'm never disappointed.I'm always learning. So when I got on to O'Reilly, I was like a kid in a candy store. There are playlists. There are answers. There's on-demand training. It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.

This whole book-publishing thing is terribly unfair. The author gets all the glory, and it’s my name on the spine, but it’s a large team that actually takes my words, shapes them, puts them on pages, and gets them out there looking far, far better than I ever imagined. Beyond that, it takes friends and family to see the author through the process with his mind in one piece, and it takes people like you for these books to find an audience. I am, it seems, the smallest piece of the puzzle. But I am deeply grateful, and I never take all this for granted. To the following, I am deeply indebted and grateful.
