I use a couple of learning platforms, but I'm on O'Reilly more than anybody else. When you're there, you start learning. I'm never disappointed.I'm always learning. So when I got on to O'Reilly, I was like a kid in a candy store. There are playlists. There are answers. There's on-demand training. It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.
1.2. Microsoft’s Windows® Operating System
Microsoft Corporation became the dominant software company in the 1980s and 1990s. In 1981, Microsoft released the first version of its DOS operating system for the IBM Personal Computer (DOS is an acronym for “Disk Operating System”). In the mid-1980s, Microsoft developed the Windows operating system, a graphical user interface built on top of DOS.
