I use a couple of learning platforms, but I'm on O'Reilly more than anybody else. When you're there, you start learning. I'm never disappointed.I'm always learning. So when I got on to O'Reilly, I was like a kid in a candy store. There are playlists. There are answers. There's on-demand training. It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.
8.9. Rectangular Arrays
So far, we have discussed one-dimensional (or single-subscripted) arrays—arrays that contain one row of values. In this section, we introduce multidimensional (also called multiple-subscripted) arrays, which require two or more indices to identify particular elements. We concentrate on two-dimensional (also called double-subscripted) arrays, or arrays that contain multiple rows of values. There are two types of two-dimensional arrays—rectangular and jagged. We discuss jagged arrays in Section 8.12. Rectangular arrays often represent tables of values consisting of information arranged in rows and columns.
