En los Capítulos 3, 4 y 5, ya nos hemos familiarizado con las visualizaciones clásicas de la clasificación y la estructura. Ahora pasemos a la dinámica: analizar los cambios de una métrica a lo largo del tiempo. Para ello estamos acostumbrados a utilizar gráficos de líneas. Están formados por puntos con coordenadas(x, y) que están conectados por una línea. En la Figura 6-1, puedes ver un gráfico con dos medidas: las ventas reales y las previstas por mes.

Puede ocurrir que no tengamos valores planificados, y estemos mostrando sólo los valores reales, evaluando su dinámica. En este caso, quedará bien un relleno semitransparente bajo la línea(Figura 6-2). Técnicamente, se trata de otro visual de Power BI -el gráfico de áreas-, pero funciona de forma similar al gráfico de líneas.
