Chapter 7. Working with VSAN
In previous chapter, we discussed basics of virtual storage in a vSphere environment and discussed two of the major file systems used in the VMware environment. We learnt how to configure storage and to manage datastores in the most efficient way, for optimizing storage performance in a virtual environment. In the end, we learnt process of data management, data backup, data deduplication, and recovery.
Now, in this chapter, we will cover the implementation and configuration of Virtual SAN (VSAN) with vSphere.
