So when I got on to O'Reilly, I was like a kid in a candy store. There are playlists. There are answers. There's on-demand training. It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.
Expandable reservation
Expandable reservation is an attribute that is specific to a resource pool. This attribute allows a resource pool that is not able to satisfy the reservation request for a particular machine and search through its parent for unreserved capacity to satisfy the reservation request.
The administrator should use the expandable reservation carefully; a child resource pool can use all of its parent's available resources, leaving nothing directly available for other child resource pools.
The administrator can use the resource pool summary tab to display information that applies to the host machine and its resources. The Resource Settings pane displays CPU and memory share settings, and the Resource Consumers pane displays the number ...
