Summary
In this chapter, we covered some of the more popular and advanced features in vSphere. We gained a considerable understanding of High Availability and its configuration procedure. We also learnt how to apply to mission-critical workload's requirements by enabling Fault Tolerance. To ensure fair resource consumption, we also had a look at DRS.
In the next chapter, we will have a look at vSphere patch and update management. To keep our environment secure and updated, we will learn how to patch our ESXi hosts, and keep them secure by configuring firewalls and using additional products including vCloud Networking and Security.
