I use a couple of learning platforms, but I'm on O'Reilly more than anybody else. When you're there, you start learning. I'm never disappointed.I'm always learning. So when I got on to O'Reilly, I was like a kid in a candy store. There are playlists. There are answers. There's on-demand training. It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.
Summary
This chapter was all about the basic topics that define e-commerce security. This chapter made the case for the importance of e-commerce security, and discussed what makes a system secure while at the same time scalable and usable. We discussed the main topics that pertain to transactional security and you learned about the advanced notion of risk-driven security. All of that is just scratching the surface when it comes to securing a real-life e-commerce system and the vast number of transactions that it facilitates on a daily basis. In the remaining chapters, you will delve much deeper into the tools and techniques that help you design, implement, and operate a scalable, reliable, and secure e-commerce system.
