So when I got on to O'Reilly, I was like a kid in a candy store. There are playlists. There are answers. There's on-demand training. It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.

BPM tools cover a wide spectrum starting with basic mapping tools and including business process analysis tools, enterprise modeling tools, and BPM software suites. This chapter explores what each type of tool has to offer.
• Basic process mapping tools are just that—simple software packages, which are inexpensive and enable the user to draw a process map. No analysis capability exists in these packages. Microsoft Visio is one example of this type of tool. Many of the more sophisticated products provide a bridge to import Visio diagrams.
