Chapter 7. Advanced Scrolling

Users have been scrolling in some fashion since the earliest days of computer interfaces. Back in the days of the “green screen,” our main vehicle for scrolling was the Unix pipe recipient more, which let us see 24 lines of text on the screen at a time and then hit the space bar when we were ready for more.
