Previous works provide a few effective discretization formulas for continuous-time zeroing neural network (CTZNN), of which the precision is a square pattern. However, those formulas are separately developed via many relatively blind attempts. In this chapter, general Zhang time discretization (ZTD) formulas are developed via the idea of the second-order derivative elimination (SODE). All existing ZTD formulas in the previous works are included in the framework of the general ZTD formulas. The connections and differences of various general formulas are also discussed.
