I use a couple of learning platforms, but I'm on O'Reilly more than anybody else. When you're there, you start learning. I'm never disappointed.I'm always learning. So when I got on to O'Reilly, I was like a kid in a candy store. There are playlists. There are answers. There's on-demand training. It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.
Yunico Uchiyama was born
in Hokkaido, Japan. He
has been the owner of his
own studio, Vesicapisis,
since 2005. He is also the
founder of the silkscreen
studio Artvolvox. Known for
his illustrations for fashion
brand Deep Sweet Easy
in 2011, his works can be
seen mainly in T-shirts.
Strongly influenced by
Hayao Miyazaki, the movies
and the music of the 60s
and the 70s, and especially
by psychedelic art, Yunico
Uchiyama was one of the
twenty five artists chosen
for the exhibition
Magical
Girls: Art inspired by Shojo
Manga
, which took place in
the gallery/store Meltdown
Comics of Los Angeles, in
2011.
