Yoshida Yoshitsugi is an
illustrator. Althought her
main works are book cover
illustrations and CD jackets,
she’s also well-known
because of her amazing
watercolor technique. Her
works have appeared in
Faust
magazine (Kodansha). She
lives in Chiba prefecture,
Japan, and works both
with analog and digital
techniques. She draws
almost exclusively female
characters, but they’re not
the center of attention in her
works. This honor belongs to
atmosphere and the amazing
colors she works with. Notice
also her unconventional
shading technique: Yoshida
marks depth by using darker
and lighter tones.
