When I went on the O’Reilly platform, I was astonished to find all the books there, plus live events and sandboxes so you could play around with the technology.I’ve been on the O’Reilly platform for more than eight years. I use a couple of learning platforms, but I'm on O'Reilly more than anybody else. When you're there, you start learning. I'm never disappointed.I'm always learning. So when I got on to O'Reilly, I was like a kid in a candy store. There are playlists. There are answers. There's on-demand training. It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.
Stephen was born in
Pensacola, Florida. He began
drawing at a very early age
and his interest in art only
grew as he got older. Always
a fan of video games, comics,
and films, he pursued work
among these things from
youth into adulthood. He
began his professional career
as a caricature artist at Bush
Gardens in Tampa, and
also as a storyboard artist
on animated films, such as
the
Angel Wars
DVD series.
Afterwards he was employed
by Gorilla Systems Corp. as a
2-D artist on a variety of video
game projects. Since his
time there, he has become a
freelance artist, contributing
his time to all manner of
professional and personal
