I use a couple of learning platforms, but I'm on O'Reilly more than anybody else. When you're there, you start learning. I'm never disappointed.I'm always learning. So when I got on to O'Reilly, I was like a kid in a candy store. There are playlists. There are answers. There's on-demand training. It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.
Laura Watton is a self-taught
comic artist who loves manga
and cool illustration. She
also loves sewing things
too. Some of her favorite
things include Gothic Lolita
fashion, Rockabilly fashion,
energetic music, kittens,
video games, beer and cake.
She’s hugely inspired by
Japanese manga style and
illustration, and Japanese
comics are what inspired her
to pick up a pen and draw
her own at the age of fifteen.
Fifteen years later, it still
gives her great motivation.
She has been published by
several companies, but she
also self-publishes her own
work. Her day job is as a 2D
games artist. She creates
