Conventions Used

There are a number of text conventions used throughout this book.

CodeInText: Indicates code words in text, database table names, folder names, filenames, file extensions, pathnames, dummy URLs, user input, and Twitter handles. Here is an example: "In the Musician class, the main action is performed by the play() method."

A block of code is set as follows:

class Musician:     def __init__(self, name):         self.name = name       def __str__(self): return f'the musician {self.name}'       def play(self):         return 'plays music'

Bold: Indicates a new term, an important word, or words that you see onscreen. For example, words in menus or dialog boxes appear in the text like this. Here is an example: "A remote proxy, which acts as the local representation ...
