RGB values are the basics of how colors are represented digitally. Standing for Red, Green, and Blue, RGB values are constructed from the fact that all colors can be generated from a specific combination of red, green, and blue. An RGB value therefore is a tuple of three integer numbers, each of which ranges from 0 (which indicates no color at all) to 255 (which indicates the deepest shade of that specific color).
For example, the color red corresponds to the tuple (255, 0, 0); in the tuple, there is only the highest value for red and no value for the other colors, so the whole tuple represents the pure color red.
