Asynchronous programming for communication channels

Given the nature of asynchronous programming, it is no surprise that the programming model can provide functionalities that complement the process of facilitating communication channels efficiently. Using the topic of HTTP communication as an example, the server can asynchronously handle multiple clients at the same time; while it is waiting for a specific client to make an HTTP request, it can switch to another client and process that client's request.
