In addition to tracking progress toward the high-level goal of a release, it is always helpful to track the development team’s progress toward completing the work of a single iteration. In this chapter, we’ll look at the two tools for iteration tracking: the task board and iteration burndown charts.
The Task Board
A task board serves the dual purpose of giving a team a convenient mechanism for organizing their work and a way of seeing at a glance how much work is left.
