Preparing to Configure Open Directory Services
There are several methods available to configure your Lion Server to provide directory services, use another directory service, or both. You will learn which tool is appropriate for your needs.
In order to provide the full range of Open Directory services, your Lion Server must have forward and reverse DNS records available before you configure it as an Open Directory master.
