Managing Websites
You can manage many websites with Lion Server. Each website can be distinguished by a different IP address, domain name, or port over which everyone accesses the site. Before you change any parameters on your existing site, or add a new site, it’s worth learning how Apple configures the defaults for the original site.
Note
If you followed the examples in Chapter 4, “Managing Accounts,” andstarted the Profile Manager service, then your server’s default web site will use port 443 instead of port 80.
Viewing Website Parameters
While not editable, understanding what parameters Lion Server sets for the default website is helpful, as you will often want to adjust or change some of them on your other sites.
