Creating Share Points
After determining server and user requirements and entering at least a sample set of users and groups that represents the organizational structure, the next step in sharing files is to configure your share points. A share point can be any folder, drive, or volume that is mounted on the server. When you create a share point, you make that item and its contents available to network clients via the specified protocols. This includes deciding what items you want to give access to and organizing the items logically. It requires using your initial planning and knowledge of your users and their needs.
