What's the right way to do it?

It is important to understand that there are many different methods and tools for obtaining a Wi-Fi password. Technology is always improving and growing, and a lot of factors come into play when determining which is the most effective. So the only right way to do it is by selecting whichever tool will give you the actual password. However, the reason we are using the aircrack-ng suite is because it touches on the core fundamentals of the whole Wi-Fi cracking process. It is a command-line based tool that will provide a deeper understanding of how Wi-Fi passwords are captured and cracked.
